If he does not arrive to to join up with the French squad, the French FA can enforce a suspension on him playing for Chelsea, every game he misses for France they can suspend him for two domestic games I believe. Whats this all about? Is this situation right? has he retired and does not want to play for France or is this classic Jose Mourinho tactics. However, he did come out of his original retirement to play at this year's World Cup so did he retire again? thekentwolf 28-08-2006, 10:17 I am not sure on the arrangement he had with France, I thought him and Zidane came out of retiremnet to help them qualify, which they did. You not going to help them qualify for a major competition and then announce your retirement again, so they played in the WCF, then both retired again after the WCF as far as I am aware, although the French FA are still picking CM but not ZZ.
