Cant seem to see another thread congratulating the acadamy on winning the Velo trophy in Holland - another scalp. At least the acadamy means we will always have hope for the future no matter what the current situation on the pitch is.

Would be great if we could find a genuine goal poacher from the junior ranks. Nardiello was the great hope before he disappeared to Man Ure. I thought Hughes played out wide but if he can still score that many from there he must be good. I think Holloway or someone has sung his praises before.

OK maybe the teams competing in the competion wern't Ajax and Arsenal style youth acadamys, but Bolton were there and it takes something to win any tournament. Well done again to the acadamy players and coaching team! Keep up the good work.
