Not meaning to $$$$ on the parade but Senda seems to be a strange player to look at. He's played 200 games for Wycombe and yet nobody else has come in for him? Has anybody seen him play? The 'young and hungry' thing to my mind seemed to be about looking at players who were $$$$-hot at a lower level and could make the step up. If Senda is that good then after 200 games... why is he still at Wycombe?

Also good news that Rosa played and impressed as well. Hope to see him in the first team vs Burnley.
One thing though, why is he playing Breen, Craddock (half each), Ricketts, and to a lesser extent Henry, when they have just played 3 games in 6 days and looked tired against Preston?

Its time for Seyi to come into the limelight. If he can find his international form it could transform our midfield. With Mark Davies and Rosa too our midfield could start to buzz at last. We still need a powerful, pacy wideman however and little sign of anything happening. Gobern keeps getting injured and has a long way to go to prove himself. Henry and O'Connor should be useful reserves, and no more imv, if this club is going to start motoring this season.

I expect Olofinjana and Rosa to both start on Saturday. Maybe even Senda right wing if he is signed. Still need a left winger though and i'm not sure Clapham is the answer- i would however drop Naylor and play him left back.

I think Ricketts has been playing decently and deserves his first team spot. Clapham is a proven player, I think he'll only get better as he begins to get a feel for the rest of our team.

I disagree about Henry. I think he will turn out to be a very shrewd signing. O'connor i'm not so sure about- he could turn out to be a good midfielder at this level or he could be a below average one. imo he has not played enough first team games to be judged just yet.

Senda is a right back come right midfielder. Basically a utility player as I understand it. Perhaps he's ok in that role. But I think we badly need an out and out winger especially at home where we lack penetration and variety in attack. We need some players who can frighten the opposition a bit. Only Boothroyd seems to offer any real threat at the moment.

I'm sorry but Rosa is much better player than Ricketts. Ricketts may have started playing better than last season (which is not hard i might add!), but at this moment we need all the quality we can get into hte starting 11 and Rosa brings a high work rate and goals which ultimately offers the team more.

I very much hope you are right. But he is 23 and has plenty of experience in this league. Its a tough world and the expectation is that he has to get up to speed fast. Otherwise, as I say, a useful reserve. But if he can rise to the occasion he will save us an awful lot of money and play a key role.

Agreed, i'm a Rosa fan, and I think he can play the breaking midfield role that Cameron did to great effect in our promotion season.

It was not for nothing that both Arsenal and Spurs didn't want to hang on to him. And at 22/23 he should be doing the business by now. I would like Eagles on loan but I suppose that is too much to ask for while our club sets its sights so low this season.

Yep, that is the type of player we should be trying to get on loan, and to be quite honest i don't think there is any reason why we shouldn't. Cardiff got that highly rated Arsenal kid (forgot name!) so why shouldn't we be able to? Cardiff ffs!

Jemal johnson is a sensation at reserve level with 1 goal in 2 but he needs to raise the stakes and score at a higher level. See no reason why we can't have him on loan and see how he does and then make a decision.

Ricketts has one cracking game in 7-8 matches and is then generally useless. He seems to perform against teams that let you play like Ipswich and Reading but when the tackles come flying in, or it gets too cold for him, he disappears.

Agree on the Ricketts comments he was beaten to often with a strong tackle or a solid shoulder nudge on Friday when he should have beating players with his pace.

We're obviously short of news reports from the club, many posts asking about Rosa, now questions about Finkler. Maybe MM is still in the assessment phase, but I thought that one of his strengths was connecting with the fans?
