View Full Version : Camara on the move again?
Newcastle are reported to be ready to pay £6 million for his services. Wigan want to keep him and are said to be prepared to give him a hefty increase on his £1 million a year wages. Henri must be thinking he's managed his career just fine!
As an aside..have Wigan strengthened at all? If Camara leaves, in addition to those already left/unsettled, they look as though this coming season could be a struggle.

Wonder if Jeff put in a sell on clause? Did we get £3.5m?

Camara was an excellent player for us, one of the bright spots of a very disappointing season. His time here has obviously been soured but he was probably the most exciting player we have had since Keane in terms of getting you off your seat. He is a bit erratic, but now a proven Prem quality player. Newcastle require something up front so I'm not that surprised.
As for Wigan, they have bought quite well IMO. Kirkland,Webster ( when it goes through ), Landzaat and Heskey will all strengthen the spine of the team. Roberts was a loss, but I don’t expect them to be relegated.
£6m for an average player who will be 30 this season? Only at the joke that is Newcastle United.

they will miss Bullard I reckon, but should have enough to be safe. 10th-14th finish I reckon.

It will be a test for Paul Jewell. Last season they were on an upward spiral but this season might be a very different situation for them. I think they will struggle if the fizz has gone.

They have signed Luis Valencia for a start, could be useful.

cows arses in the North East are also expected to be banjo-free zones
Willie McK needs to generate income with Chimbonda's move on ice and Camara is the obvious choice.

If the move went through and Owen was fit that would be the quickest partnership in history.

Why are we discussing someone who is no longer a wolves player?

Why are we discussing someone who is no longer a wolves player?
Because it makes sense that our old boy Camara is linked up again with Carl Cort. Would we be able to resist a ridiculous offer if they came in for him? So I dont want to hear that Wolves fans disguised as Wigna fans have been bombarding Paul Jewell with this suggestion.:D

That'll be "injured again on Saturday Kirkland" will it?
And we think Matt Murray is injury prone.

I believe Kirkland is known affectionately as the 'Milky Bar Kid' round Liverpool way.

Why are we discussing someone who is no longer a wolves player?
'cause there's probably a sell on clause in the contract, which would mean more money in the Wolvo coffers.
