The guy has captained at an incredibly high level, knows all the players (Breen admitted that he knew nobody at the club, well he said he remembered playing against Craddock when they were 6, but barring that, nobody), and deserves it. Made the move to Wolves when it would have been much easier to stay at Celtic, first thing that happens, bangs himself up horribly, and then doesn't complain, doesn't say "I wish I hadn't moved", just gets on about his business, recovers in record time and looks to be back in shape. Captain is the least we can do. |
