It is looking increasingly likely that Ince is on his way. Think this is a bad move personally we could do with his leadership qualities in the centre of the park
If he does go who do you think would be the best captain for Wolves?

Mine too, can't see anyone else being capable
Sorry, I only read the poll bit and not the first post. I thought that it was who do you think will be captain and not who do you want to be captain.

what do we expect from a captain when on th epitch and the games in full flow ?
ince gives us that extra moan at the refs
but at the back you need a big mouth to orgnise and ensure the keepers protected as best
can forwards captain well ?? could you see Leon with the arm band

I can't believe anyone would actually want to keep Ince.
Jackie Mac for me too.

I chose Breen, as he's worked under McCarthy whilst at Sunderland and so knows first hand what he expects.

Should be McNamara. Will be Breen.
I think Lee Naylor should be given the vice captaincy.

not true. he was in negotiations while hoddle was still here. and hod was still keeping ince more than likely.
he will however get the job, given the current circumstances
btw - i chose mcnamara too, however i think breen would do a more than adequate job of it.

Coventry City News -
I live in Coventry and have a good friend who works at the Ricoh, it's been rumoured that Coventry have offered Paul Ince a contract. They need some experiance in midfield after losing Dennis Wise to Swindon.

Has Jackie Mac ever been a captain? He's experience but is he a leader and an organiser??
Breen has captained Sunderland to promotion in this league and knows what it's all about..

Gotta be Jackie Mac. The guy has captained at an incredibly high level, knows all the players (Breen admitted that he knew nobody at the club, well he said he remembered playing against Craddock when they were 6, but barring that, nobody), and deserves it. Made the move to Wolves when it would have been much easier to stay at Celtic, first thing that happens, bangs himself up horribly, and then doesn't complain, doesn't say "I wish I hadn't moved", just gets on about his business, recovers in record time and looks to be back in shape. Captain is the least we can do.
