I'm hoping so, otherwise I'll have to leave my car at the pub and catch the train home.

Cheers everyone. I shall be there in my 1997 top with Bull number 9 on the back...I can't wait to see the great man in action again, what price a goal?

I phoned up to get 3 tickets about a month ago - and the lady in the ticket office reckoned that they would sell around " 12-13,000" for the match.

If it's that kind of attendance, it's an insult to Bully and will be pretty sad to see - but it's just a reflection of the supporter apathy that's hit molineux ever since Hoddle came to town.

Hopefully this season we can get some sort of atmosphere back.

I'm planning on going as well. May take my knipper as well.

I will be there, got my ticket ages ago and can't wait!

Excited to see Bully one more time and Big Mick's fits no nonsence (TM) home game in charge!

BlahBlah
24-07-2006, 23:43
Why is it an insult? He's already had one personal testimonial versus Santos, and he already played his last game for Wolves in another friendly against Villa. That was when he could at least run for 20minutes, looked fairly fit and that was also billed as his last appearance in a Wolves shirt!
Call this a charity game promoted by Steve Bull's business if you want
, but it's no different to any other half baked friendly match in reality.

I tend to feel the same to be honest. I know it's a chance to see Bully again but at the end of the day it's a friendly against Aston Villa. Hardly a game to set the pulses racing is it? I know it's for charity as well but it should of been £10 adults £5 kids. Much better chance of it selling out.

Well I for one can't wait.

As someone who witnessed the whole of the great Bully era, I can't wait to see the great man on the Molineux pitch in gold and black one more time.

I know he probably won't manage 20 minutes and he won't be the Bully of old but I'm looking forward to the occasion of it.

Then when Bully exits, just sit back and enjoy Big Mick's first game in charge.

Alternatively, DON'T GO!!

Can't go as off to Cyprus tonight..... Seen Bully training down Esporta a few times this week so expect him to play..... looked a lot leaner and fitter than he has for a while.... Perhaps he's hoping to impress Mick and earn a contract.....thinking about it a half fit 41 year old Bully is still better than a clueless overweight Leon

Knowing McCarthy he'll expect Bully to chase back and defend at Villa corners!!

I think I heard the ticket office had sold 6000 or so which I reckon is pretty good as most would walk upto the game and pay on the gate. Would be great to see 20,000 there. If Villa have got the south bank I reckon they could bring a few too.

Cant wait to see the man in a gold shirt again..I can hear all the favourite songs now.......

I think he said he'd packed up the Masters because it'll cripple him permanently if he keeps playing.

Got my tickets today. In the North Bank in the middle. Can't wait to see Bully playing for one last time as he is my hero (grew up with him scoring his goals as im only 18). £10 for students as well. Also its a good way to see whats MM 1st team might be for Plymouth and how he gets them to play as im sure the players will want to impress him with their work ethic

Promise Dreams is the Charity benefiting from the game...don't know what percentage they're getting tho. A great charity by the way...and local too!

If it's for Charity why not make it more interesting. $$$$$$$$ to the football, Merlin himself has said he doesn't like friendlies.

Perhaps they could do the sort of stuff that happens on 'Dirty Sanchez'. I'd pay more than a tenner to watch Frankowski take a few darts.
