Wants a place on Mick's coaching team (http://www.expressandstar.com/articles/sport/wolves/article_91888.php)
Happy with the McCarthy appointment (mind you, when does he ever say anything controversial anyway? :D )
You never know, perhaps Bully's time has come. He is certainly a McCarthy type character, tough, gritty, down-to-earth and a trier, they played against eachother too.
Come on Mick, give Bully a job, put him out of his misery!
Seriously, why not? He has his badges, he loves the club and is desperate to succeed. I didn't like the idea of Bully becoming manager but why not a coach and see how he does?

with a 0/20 goal ratio, fun time Franky might appreciate some tips from the clubs all-time record scorer.

Let him pick up the cones, a-la Carl Hoddle and see where he goes from there.

I don't think that SGB is ready for such a senior scouting role just yet...

With a goalscoring record like his, Frankie does not need tips about goalscoring. He needs a system that suits his game, a new manager (oooh he's just got one), and teammates who know how to supply him ... and a little time to settle to the English game (now up I guess)
Would be a good PR move giving Bull a coaching role at the club and i'd personally be behind it. Even if it just meant the supporters got behind the staff and team more it would surely have proved succesful?

Granted, but perhaps who better to help a striker adapt to the English game, than one of the English games most successful stikers...ever?
And If Ronaldinho can stay after training at Barca to practise, it's not asking for the moon on a stick for Frankie to continue to work extra hard on his own game surely? So he can make the most of chances when/if they come.

Ince and bull should start in the lower leagues like everone else, they have no diviine right to start at the top. Look at people like martin allen, they have done well after starting at the basement level.

Martin Allen, manages a club in the lowest professional league in this country.
Giving Steve Bull a job on the coaching staff would give the whole place a lift. The guy is Wolves through and through and I would be happy for him to have a role at the club.
Would be great to have God and Incey as part of the set up.
Both great players and servants to the Old Gold. Lead by example and respected by the supporters.

Yeah because were just a massive top team after spending 21 out of 22 years in the lower leagues. Lets possibly miss out on couple of good coaches because they have to learn there trade at Telford first.
it isnt going to happen though is it?
however much i like big mick i doubt he will think about recruiting bully to his little revolution.
bully mentions ince in that article as well, did the 2 of them ever play together for england or were they in different time frames?

I think Frank Rijkaard had one poor season managing a small Dutch team before getting the Barca job. And that was a wealth of experience compared to Van Basten and Klinsmann who got two huge national jobs.

And some fans who will show their support for him, there were fans having a go at him in the south bank after 3 games last season.

He is looking to work in any capacity not as a manager so to apprentice yourself to Mick could be a good move. Adams is doing this with Harry after a job as manager with a lower league club.

Ince first played for England in September 1992. Think Bully didn't last long after Taylor was appointed. Taylor had a fixation with Alan Smith and Les Ferdinand.

Just because ince was a top player doesn't mean he is a top manager. He has his coaching badges and now he should prove himself in the lower leagues. I don't give a toss if he's paul ince he has no divine right to start near the top straight away. If he had been wolves manager it would have been jobs for the boys and he would have brought in all his old england cronies. If he lost a few matches early on you lot would have been on his back saying we shouldn't have hired an inexperienced manager.

Have we found a time machine and jumped back to the late 50s?;)

Bully and Ince behind a McCarthy Management, can you get any more motivational? I can agree that we probably shouldn't trust him with any make or break decisions just yet (you can hardly say the team functioned better when he was captain for a short while), but to keep him on may be a good way of introducing Mick to the sometimes warped thinking of the Wolves faithful.
You could see the Bull in Keane, lets see if he can inject a bit of penalty box prowesqueinto Frankie.

Can you imagine Bully bawling him out in his dulcet Black Country tones :D

I think you'll find Telford's backroom team is more than competent, especially their scout!!

thats what i though, i didnt think they had played together.
we can probably assume they knew each other before ince came here though, maybe through gazza.
Taylor was the $$$$$$$$ who substituted Lineker v Sweden when we needed to score because 'we needed to hold the ball up better.'
Seems to me that he didn't like thoroughbred goalscorers and preferred players in his own mold i.e. clumsy and tactically useless.
was Lineker on for some kind of record in that game as well, i seem to remember reading it somewhere?

Needed 1 more goal to draw level with Bobby Charlton's record of 49 goals.

Shouldn't have tried to be cocky v Brazil from the penalty spot then

Ian Wright. Scored one goal in his first 13 caps on the way to helping us fail to qualify for the World Cup in 1994. Alan Shearer was injured for most of the qualifying campaign, but Taylor didn't pick Bully who had a 4 in 13 ratio.

I seem to remember he went through a very lean time with England whilst he was with Barcelona. Didn't he have hepatitis for a while and when he returned he was in awful form?
If it hadn't been for this spell maybe his record would have been much better.
ifs, buts and maybes though.

would it be too much to give Bully franko for a month of specific 1on 1 training
would the language be too much for him after learning english so well

Wrong. He needs a kick up the $$$$ and loaning out to Cartegena. Silas style.
We've bought a dud and I don't want to waste the next 10 games looking for definitive proof.

Why would we want to give anyone a Silas style kick up the $$$$- send out on loan, never see again and lose our millions?
He definitely needs a kick up the ass but he certainly doesn't need one on one training to show him where the back of the net is. He needs to break his duck, boost his confidence and then hopefully he will build on that. The worrying thing is that it will take him ages to score his first goal and then he will go from bad to worse. For the record, I have full confidence in Franky and truly believe he will have a good year.
