I seem to be the only one who has mentioned his name on this round of prospective managers. I cant understand why as he seems to have enough credentials to be at least considered.
Obviously this would depend on whether he would want the job and whether he is ready to return to the job after the loss of his wife. But if he did then he is not tied to any clubs so could start whenever and no compo is needed. He has experience and left Coventry only to look after his wife. He would be respected by the players for his career. He is young and was ambitious. Did a good job and was thought of highly.
If you are reading Jez:D put him on that list if he is not there already.
Fellow MM's comments please. Support the McAllistair one.

Decent shout, I wouldn't be at all miffed by his appointment.

He'd be a risky appointment, but no riskier than Ince, who seems popular for some reason.....

really just a case of whether he now feels like he can get back into management - maybe it is a little early for him.

But doesn't he lean against the dug-out? ;)

he has 2 young kids, and I suspect its soon for him to want to spend a lot of time away from home!!

A good shout, but only if he wants the job. Not a big fan of chasing after people that haven't applied. If they didn't apply, they don't want the job. Simple as that isn't it? Especially after the last incumbent.

Wouldn't be dissapointed if we appointed him....
