Fair play to him, I guess!

If you know no bugger in a country AND don't like the food on offer, it's a bit of a problem....

He'll be alright if he likes biscuits. I'm glad i haven't got to watch him poncing about for us any more. He's a HAS-BEAN.

I live about 5 minutes drive from New Malden - he's right - there's a MASSIVE Korean community there.

I've never been able to work out why though.....

No thanks, I'd be bankrupt in not time! Wouldn't mind a few of his blonde bimbos though!

All the quotes I've ever read from Seol are of him moaning. "I don't like the food", "I'm too tired", "whinge, whinge, whinge"

I'm glad he's gone, he just a big softie. I thought national service was supposed to toughen youngsters up (according to the Daily Mail and my granddad)?

Are we to believe that a progressive coach like Hoddle, schooled on the Continent, with an almost Buddhist outlook on life that would surely be able to empathise with Seol's background & requirements, & interested in all aspects of a footballer's wellbeing & diet, actually sanctioned a beans only menu? Or is this another area of the club, where Moxey's word is law? Or was Carl sent to take the family cow to market, only to come back with a team-sized tin of Netto baked beans?

I don't like baked beans = Championship football + Wolverhampton = $$$$.

After reading this - http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2002390000-2006320301,00.html - I kind of feel sorry for the bloke, but I really do believe he will come good now he is at Reading, near Korean community, home comforts, in the Premiership, living near fellow korean player/friend Lee Young Pyo, It sounds like he hated living in Wolvo, so did his wife, and so surely that contributed to his poor performances.

It defies believe that the Seol has left purely because of the food served up. Presumably he was aware that people in different countries eat different food, so should have expected a change in diet, and likewise who ever is responsible for feeding the players should have been prepared to listen to his requirements. It makes both the player, and the club, look like amateurs.

He's spent the last 6 years in europe you would have thought he be used to it by now.

We have never heard Jez complaining about the pies and that they have affected his judgement in spotting a good manager.

That's the trouble with too many immigrants - they just won't integrate.

If Seol had taken to eating beans, maybe he'd have learned to move his ass a bit smarter ;)

Could we not just ensure that their house has a cooker and a large freezer. Cooking Korean food isn't that difficult and its not like players have to work in the afternoon - plenty of time to get home, get some squid and pak choi out of the freezer, and follow Dee Lee Ah's "Korean Cooking made easy"

I'm not worried about Seol - he's gone now, but if our players are being fed beans on toast then it explains a very great deal. Cant wait for Delia to take over!!!

Seol may never have played to his potential but there is simply no excuse for this type of "humour".

Our lads must not have been eating Heinz (the best). And pehaps he never used the HP sauce. I have to drive a bit to get them here. Once, living in London, I watched a roommate feed her American boyfriend beans-on-toast. He ate a few mouthfulls before running for the bog to throw up. You must admit, it's a culinary delight that does not travel far around the world.

I am surprised ...they are infinitely more digestable than re-fried beans I would have thought. You need to add a little white vinegar to all but the best baked beans to bring out the flavour ...perhaps she forgot that ...
