View Full Version : E&S say's Kenny-11 03-07-2006, 17:10 That Hoddle is not coming back despite planned meeting. Grinder 03-07-2006, 17:12 Thats a shame. paddingtonwolf 03-07-2006, 17:12 E&S - Columbo and Sherlock Holmes combined Hibbitt was King 03-07-2006, 17:12 There's no way he is going to change his mind. I think it's a question of Moxey wanting a debrief. Kenny-11 03-07-2006, 17:13 E&S - Columbo and Sherlock Holmes combined I will add this has come from a quick glance at the paper whilst waiting to be served, I didn't have enough time to spot any use of the word "understand". jabbawolf 03-07-2006, 17:13 There's no way he is going to change his mind. I think it's a question of Moxey wanting a debrief. De-briefing Moxey - what a thought? paddingtonwolf 03-07-2006, 17:14 its 48 more wasted hours in the life of Wolves. Move on chaps, the gimp is dead, long live whatever new gimp you give us. Axle 03-07-2006, 17:15 Wolves are a shambles. Mutchy 03-07-2006, 17:27 I will add this has come from a quick glance at the paper whilst waiting to be served, I didn't have enough time to spot any use of the word "understand". Did the vinegar soak through after that?:p Kenny-11 03-07-2006, 17:31 Did the vinegar soak through after that?:p You've been looking after Tower's joke book haven't you Mutchy 03-07-2006, 17:37 You've been looking after Tower's joke book haven't you He trusts me...:D jayeff17 03-07-2006, 17:40 It's Hoddles ploy to get a pay raise !!!!! The Bear 03-07-2006, 17:42 Complete and utter coward, sneaking off with his tail between his legs because the goings gotten tough. Jack Bauer 03-07-2006, 18:12 Basically, E&S reporters say there is no chance of him re-consideringand they are not too impressed with him. The word 'arrogant' is used a lot and they have a nice double page spread with Eriksson on one side and Hoddle on the other, both getting a good slagging off. Phys Ed Wolf 03-07-2006, 18:14 We should hold onto what little pride we have left, and draw a line under this sorry mess, whilst working their collective socks off to get a decent manager in. Ogerp 03-07-2006, 19:06 Surprised the E&S haven't run a story about Rupert Lowe resigning and then just a few days later Hoddle resigning. Tarcisio Mifsud 03-07-2006, 19:08 I am more than happy he is not returning back, for I was afraid he would change his mind. Come on Wolves get a young manager, who is hungry for success and I have a feeling that Wolves can have a better season than the two wasted ones by Hoddle. Essex Wolf 03-07-2006, 19:15 Chuffed that his gone but annoyed and worried Moxey is wanting to try and talk him out of it. Wolves have the perfect opportunity to unload GH at no cost and win back a few fans in the process. Worried that Moxey wants GH to return so as there's a ready made excuse for failure. Dougan was king 03-07-2006, 19:42 He doesnt want him back ,he just wants arrange a deal so Hoddle wont talk to the press, more is the pity he has not gone as well the man is nothing but a crook. Deutsch Wolf 03-07-2006, 19:43 He doesnt want him back ,he just wants arrange a deal so Hoddle wont talk to the press, more is the pity he has not gone as well the man is nothing but a crook. Explain. Dougan was king 03-07-2006, 19:57 Explain. Firstly I am over the moon that hoddle has gone however I can see us employing some one just as inept in Stuart Gray. Moxey as never been keen on ex managers taking to the press I think hoddle would have some interesting comments to make about the way the club is run. it seems that we are planning for relegation no effort seems to have been made to bring any new faces in. cort and seoul seem certain to be sold we wont survive with the players we have left. yes it will be nice to see some young faces in but only if they are good enough. questions need asking why are moxey and the haywards trying to run this club into the ground. How come coventry a club in financial diffuclties last season able to bring in 9 new players with more to come. My one hope is that from day 1 of the new season the crowd turn on moxey and drive him out. SSW 03-07-2006, 20:33 Chuffed that his gone but annoyed and worried Moxey is wanting to try and talk him out of it. Chuffed that his *what* has gone? derbyrameater 03-07-2006, 20:33 As was just pointed out on WM by Charles Ross, Hoddle couldn`t attend the meeting because of some family commitment, does this mean Hoddle was not going to Spain with the team for the pre-season as they left this afternnon. TheDarkside 03-07-2006, 20:53 He doesnt want him back ,he just wants arrange a deal so Hoddle wont talk to the press, more is the pity he has not gone as well the man is nothing but a ...................... You cant call him that, because it's not true, and posting that puts this board at risk. I would suggest you edit your post. fenella 04-07-2006, 08:44 As was just pointed out on WM by Charles Ross, Hoddle couldn`t attend the meeting because of some family commitment, does this mean Hoddle was not going to Spain with the team for the pre-season as they left this afternnon. Hoddle arranged the meeting, went home, told his wife, and she said "I don't think so. You said you'd be free today. You've got to take little Jimmy to school cos I've arranged to go shopping with my sister." And Hoddle said "I forgot, but its really important". And she said "So's shopping, suck it up mister, you're not going" At least if its anything like our house that's what happened. You were supposed to be in Spain. I have arranged to have my lover come in to stay and now you have ruined the whole thing:mad:" Penfold 04-07-2006, 11:46 Firstly I am over the moon that hoddle has gone however I can see us employing some one just as inept in Stuart Gray.
