Why is it the clubs fault?

We should hire a gang of people smugglers to get him into Spain. It might end up with him picking cockles in Morecambe Bay, but it's still a win-win situation for us. ;)

Think its more of a reflection on the pathetic species that is the modern footballer. If they don't have someone doing it for them, they don't know how to do it. I now this is a sweeping generalisation, but you get the feeling more and more players are becoming like this.
Maybe I'm being a bit harsh, anyone can forget his passport, but I'm not happy with anything Wolves and football at the moment.

Players earn too much money these day. Finding a passport in a two-up, two-down never used to be a problem, now its all 8 bedroom mock tudor mansions: no chance.

Exactly when did he realise? You can get a passport the same day if you go to a Passport Office.

He is part of the club, hence he contributes towards the clubs jokeness. Don't worry, i doubt he was having a a pop at Moxey- you can calm down.

It all started when Rohan moved into a property on Perton Ridge. Within two weeks he was possessed by 'The Bergkamps' and now becomes a jibbering wreck whenever flying/planes or airports are mentioned. Unfortunately, getting 'The Bergkamps' does not affect your footballing ability.

Couldnt they just give him a drugged glass of milk or something? A junior disprin would be enough.

He is not going because he wants to be African player of the year. However as his passport has his true details his unconscious has mislaid it. Simple innit.

I dont think you can anymore. You can make an appointment to apply for one face to face but then it still takes a week.

Rohan's a legend anyway. Great Actor and he's clever like.

I met him once in Wolvo, and I'll tell you now it does not surprise me one bit that he has lost it. He seemed drunk at 10.30 in the morning, but I'm told that is how he usually acts, Bit dopey to say the least

Smuggle him out and bring him back as an illegal immigrant. No probs.

Unless they stopped it in the last week you can still do it as one of my clients got one

It costs quite a bit though, perhaps Wolves can't afford it.

Unfortunately Moxey inserted a clause in all the players contracts that Wolves pay for everything. Ever.

Only if it's expired, if you've lost it it'll take a week. An expired one costs £96.50 but can be done same day. You can even take in a West End show while you wait. I should know! :)

I just read that Ricketts is likely to be disciplined because of this business. Can we really believe this story? A decent organisation will usually check with the participants before about arrangements including their passports,

We all knew we were going to Spain about six weeks ago, in fact, there've been several threads about it during that time. If Ricketts had lost his passport, he had plenty of time to sort it out. Ship him back to Diff'rent Strokes.

Depends on the office you apply to. Petty France will do it, but you're charged an arm and a leg unless you can prove that it was their fault that a passport wasn't issued in time.

Perhaps in the run up to the trip Hoddle told him he was gonna put him on the wing, so he got a bit confused.

It is all the fault you do not have an ID system as yet. Travelling to Spain, it would be enough to have an ID since you are travelling to another EU state. ID is kept on you all the time and therefore you would not forget where you have put it

Still it is a farce.

A decent organisation like Chelsea? Premier League champions, a club to show to the way?

Glen Johnson left his behind before a champions league Quater/Semi - Final.

You can organise as much as you like, there will always be muppets in this world. There is no need for a dig at the club on this ocassion as much as some would like there to be.

They should have asked the players to hand in thier passports last week so they knew they had them all.

Standard practice in some organizations. It's called planning.

Not hindsight but planning. These things will happen but you plan in advance for things. If it is true I am not absolving Ricketts but no one should really be in this position. I know if I am going away I check well in advance that my passport is up to date and usually have to search through the whole house to find it.:D
My cynical side says though I dont think its about a lost passport.

I think most people who don't have an axe to grind would read the report and say "what a d***".

And laugh.

Only people who have to knock the club at every opportunity would automatically think "shocking planning by the club".
