Fifa said that it had issued several warnings to the Hellenic Football Federation (HFF) to guarantee, by a 15 July deadline, that the running of football in the country would be free from political movement - but this had been ignored.
Not the 15th of July yet so they seem to be jumping the gun a bit in isuing the ban now, after all the Greeks are well know for leaving things till the last minute, look at the olympic preparations

any danger of this getting issued to Italy too? Seeing as their second biggest club has been owned by the Prime Minister for bleeding years, and he also leans on the Italian FA I would call that somewhat more than marginally political
