I know this has been beaten out before, but what do you all think of the team badge that has been in use for the last couple of seasons? I think its crap and much prefered the puma kit badge, which had the crest and wolverhampton wanderers on it.

That was the worst badge ever. The current one is the best one we've had.
Wolfs head all the way for me.
What's the crest got to do with Wolves?

wolf's head with the "rugby league" style logo on the puma kit that bod loves more than anything else in the entire world.

I'm presuming you are on the wind up here. You mean that hideous 'FC' ( in white!?! ) badge? That badge induced vomiting in the opposition throughout the game so I suppose it was useful from that perspective. The badge on the STAW shirt was the best IMO. The current one would be OK if the kit wasn’t fluorescent orange.

The eyes are too big on this one which throws out the proportions a bit compared to how it used to be, but apart from that one little thing it's good.

nah, I like the town crest but its not Wolves is it? They could perhaps fit it on the kit somewhere else but we need a badge of our own, especially in these days where the marketing of clubs is so important.
I kinda like this one right now, its simple and a far cry from the monstrosity that was the FC badge
i remember seeing the FC badge for the first time at school. a mate of mine worked for wolves marketing department at the time and when the puma deal was signed they had plain white t-shirts with puma, goodyear and the new badge.
i didnt like or dislike it, just thought it was odd and too far away from being a football club badge than id like, like someone said, a rugby league shirt.
having the crest on the shirt as well as the badge would be a good idea imo, similar to how the togo shirt has the badge on one side and some kind of eagle thing on the other

I think our current badge is fine, I didn't like the Puma version, bit like an American sports team badge, the one we have now is effective and simple. I liked the 3 Wolves badge in the 1970s / early 80s also

I quite liked the Wolf head logo on the old Bukta shirts. A bit more understated than the Puma one, but pretty much a similar idea.

An Adidas shiny old gold shirt, three stripes down the arm and the town crest on the front. One can only dream.
I like the current especially in comparison to that primary school kids effort of the raised FC !!
Also liked the old school style of 3 jumping wolves

I'll explain. One, i liked it, which you are allowed to do, but two, the purpose of a badge is to identify your club, which is why i feel the current one does'nt. Not all Wolves fans come from the Waterloo road or even the west mids, some of us come from all over Europe, or N.Ireland like me, and there is only so many times that one can take 'Whats that team?'. Should Wolves ever endeavor at some stage, to become more internationally recognised, perhaps they should keep in mind, that for most average joes, a 'yellowish' shirt with rather non-descript wolfs head doesnt really help distinguish who we are. The scroll with W'hampton Wanderers on it was perfect. There is life outside the black country you know!

Are you sure we are talking about the same badge? The one around the Manders Inc shirt was quite nice ( scoll half white half gold I think ), but the Wolf head on its own is superior in my opinion. I refuse to believe anyone would like the F C badge of the Puma ( Wolf head strip ) era?!

Yes i swear it.. it was also the last kit Bully played most of a season in. I still have it and wear it to the games sometimes. In fact i spotted one, in fact the whole kit on ebay a month or so ago and there were bids on it... i must'nt be the only one! The last few have been just bland,... but hey, its not fashion accessory i suppose.

The neck on that shirt was the worst thing in the history of the world. It was verging on obscene. Most people use those shirts as waistcoats these days.

Yeah the shirt wasnt great, but did love the badge. What about the Manders then? I still have it, plus i bought the retro wolves white away last year... class! Love those shirts.

I liked the monochrome style badge on the old gold (browny) coloured shirt of about 6 years ago. The wolf head became gold with black outline, though when the shirt was wet the material looked much darker than the badge!

I like the existing badge except for the pentagon. primary school kid with a geometry set could do better! Also for what its worth, we should have kennels where the temp stand is with a pack of Wolves in them. Then, at half time, release them onto the pitch with some paedophiles and see how they like being 'groomed'.

:D
Certainly be more enjoyable than the current pre-match and half-time 'entertainment'!
