So Glenda is talking about our first game away at Plymouth......Thank God. Am I right in thinking that this is the first time he has opened his gob and said ANYTHING about WWFC since the end of last season ?
C'mon Hodders !! We're back in training in a couple of weeks and there's a mountain of things to sort out e.g. buying and bedding-in new players, fresh tactics to replace the outmoded-garbage of last season, PR exercises to reclaim the disenchanted fans etc etc .
A lot of Championship managers have already stolen a march on us one way or another and are making rapid progress to complete thier plans.
Show us you're worth $10k a week and let's have more high-profile action/talk which will keep us all involved !!!

So there is life out there after all on Planet Hod. Surprised that he didn't mention he would be getting special insights on the Plymouth line up from 'Golden Boots' Leon Clarke no less who 'played' five games for them towards the end of last season. They were so impressed with him that they came in with a £2m offer apparently.......which we turned down (obviously).

I'm sure he's working hard on the tactics to bring about a glorious 1-1 draw as I write.

Don't you think maybe his lack of Wolves talk, and low profile, has been part of a PR exercise to reclaim the disenchanted Wolves fan? Anything he would have said would've been torn to shreds and rammed down his throat at a later date. (I'm making no bones, I may well have been one of those), but by keeping a low profile, maybe, he was hoping that people may have calmed down by the time pre-seaon had started.

Another failed tactic then...

Don't worry. Glenn is perfectly happy to go with what he's got, and anything else will be the icing on the cak. ;)

Sorry for being stupid, but is that 'cak' supposed to be there, or is it a mistake. Either way, you're spot on!

I hope the players have been given DVDs to watch again in an effort to improve their performance.
Naylor – " Weasels with a Left Foot "
Craddock – "Da Vinci Code:Tony Hart Cut"
Olofinjana – "Strictly Come Dancing Series 1 and The Ali Dia Story"
Rosa – "How to be a Wolves hero despite limited ability, stature of Ronnie Corbet and no hair – Foreword by Colin Cameron"

I wonder how his ambitions will change throughout the season.
August - " The play-offs would be a real success for a team in transition like us"
October - " I think reaching mid-table would be an extremely postive achievement for a squad as young as this
January (after FA Cup third round exit to Canvey Island) - Losing 4-0 to a team like this provides valuable experience to the younger players
April - " We can still survive"

Don't think GH can plan quite that far ahead HWK, still needs to know if the squad will have 11 players.;)

I'm new to the forum so apologies if this has been posted elsewhere but from the opening gambit in this thread I'm guessing it hasn't.
Hoddle has been working for French TV on the World Cup. Not exactly ideal preparation for next year.......

Can you prove this?
I was told this by a work mate who knows him personally. Appreciate that is not proof. I'll speak to my mate again tomorrow to see if I can find out more.

The moxey interview on the official website indicated Hoddle was still away but they were working on deals. "work is underway to bring players in and it will accelerate when Hoddle returns"
with you on that salewolf. it is interesting that there has been no season goals set out as there usually is.
i know its morbid but does anyone have a price on us being relegated; i cant bring myself to go into the bookies and ask
