So Defoe will replace Rooney if he doesn't make it.
Any thoughts?

Personally, i'd have taken Johnson. He's more direct, he's a better replacement for Owen if his hamstring goes again, he gets penalties, takes penalties, his confidence is sky high, he's only really played since January so isn't weary.
Defoe's had a bad season, he always looks miserable and under pressure, he's been forced out of the Spurs side, not only has he scored too few goals, he hasn't been getting into goalscoring positions anyway.

Quite right IMO. Johnson doesn't even deserve to be on the standby list.

For me it as to be Darren Bent the goals hes score for a middle of the table side speaks for its self.
