If you watch this video complilation it does lift your hopes that the Pole will come good next season. One goal and the rest must surely follow.

Saw plenty of his goals before he signed, but made the comment he would fail because of the system employed by Hoddle....mate, we could have Van Nistleroy, Rooney and Henry up front and Hoddle could turn them into $$$$$.

Well we've got 30 goal a season Seol who struggles to get 5, so we've got to go easy on the missing piece.;)

A lot of his goals are scored after clever passes to his feet or into his path around the 18 yard box. We do not have anyone who plays these passes.
Some on the finishes are high quality and do fill you will confidence he could do the business next season IF he is given the service...
When you look at the chance he missed against watford last season it is obvious that he hasn't settled in properly then. Lets hope he has now...

Under the Hoddle system we just do not break quickly (there have been a couple of exceptions to this and usually, because of the quality of the players we do have up front, we have scored)....but the tedious slow build up and passing the ball endlessly in midfield means that by the time the ball gets to the area Franky is surrounded by defenders, so there is no room to get a shot in and he is unlikely to beat anyone in the air. It's simple really, not rocket science, but Hoddle is too dim, egotistical, tactically limited and rubbish to understand it.

I'm hoping after the abject failure that was last season Hoddle will realise the folly of his tactics and adopt those that will be of a benefit.

Should he do so then as long as the squad isn't further ripped up then there is a remote possibility Wolves could produce some decent football.

I am hoping the Rosa, Davies and (dont laugh) a fit Olofinjana will provide more momentum FROM midfield for Frankie and that Cort will be allowed to play in the middle and that Frankie can play off his flicks and nudges.

Eternal optimist i know

Cort will be sold to one of our rivals before the season starts, and will finish as the top scorer in the division with 26 goals.

If this doesn't happen - he will play on the wing for us and score 6 goals.

Some good goals. A lot of the types of goals he scores (scored) were from fox in the box, Lineker type positions.

Hoddle has got to realise this and play to his strengths - the guy obviously has a touch of class about him.

I have never heard so many people make so many for excuses as has happened for this guy since he arrived. Maybe the final piece of the jigsaw isn't as good as he is painted out to be.
Sure I appreciate that he hasn't had so many opportunities of clear shots from 3 yards out against a keeper with his hands tied behind his back but maybe this experienced international has something to do with it himself.

...or maybe Wolves last season just didn't create the chances for him to put away.

Or maybe I'm wrong and we were actually incisive, counter-attacking at pace, playing into space and interesting.

frankie the failure will have to see out his contract that son a gun will have to start producing the goals. I am very unhappy about this signing, infact i've lost sleep over it. I wish we had used the 1.4 million to sign young players. The 1.4 million wasted could have kept prozone and been used to pay for the reserves to enter a league. I am very unhappy. Is there any way we can recoup our money on this player??

infact i've lost sleep over it.I'm sure Franek has lost sleep over not going to the WC, but I'm sure his bank balance helps comfort him.

Cort won't be sold to a championship rival. he'll go to a lower level prem club if anything, e.g. villa

Brilliant! I have only heard the games over the Internet but from the picture I'm painting from the commentary Frankie is doing everything right but just hasn't hit the goals yet. I think the majority of Wolves fans see he IS capable of a lot of goals and that's why he hasn't had too much stick. Think he will explode next season for Wolves and to prove a point to his country that he SHOULDN"T of been left out of the World Cup squad.

He'll score plenty in a 4-4-2 or with someone alongside him.

I don't dispute that Hoddle DOES play players out of position, and yes, it's incredibly frustrating and poor management. However, lame jokes like "He'll play Frankowski at left-back" aren't particularly amusing, particularly as they've been done several thousand times.

They're not jokes though.

Just observations based on past history. Just because Hoddle's stupidity is blindingly obvious and has happened a lot, it doesn't mean it should be ignored

If you'd care to learn English before posting random insults which I'm guessing are aimed at me, I'd be grateful. There are people on here whose first language isn't English that put you to shame.

Clueless Exiles, Deutsch - most of them seem to lose the ability to use their native language properly. It must be down to having to use the the local lingo to impress the totty.

No it was a look-at-the-board-and-hoddle-they-do-stupid-things-after-stupid-things kind of post.

Using the term Post-ironic on an internet message board is the type of neo-londonism;) that I, as a true black country lad, despise with a passion.
