What a complete and utter W**KER McKay is
'So he can further his career.' How many times are we going to hear that? He might not be breaking any rules (although he may well be) but he is certainly not acting in his players' best interest which makes him unethical at best and immoral at worst.

he is a $$$$$$ of that no doubt. but how is that not working in the players best interests if the player wants to move to the prem?

What is it with this guy..... all his players seem to be of African origin who he probably expects are too stupid to realise what he is up to...... I thought the slave trade stopped two hundred years ago !!!

You can question his methods but I would suggest a lot of his players have benefited financially under his "guidance".

Makes you wonder with his track recored how any club would want to sign any player managed by this $$$t.......Have one good season for a club in the bottom half and you know he's gonna' try and move him on

If he's not careful, he's going to get every club in the country not wanting to do business with him no matter which World beater he has on his books.
There's professional and then there's ethical.....McKay is neither. He's undoubtably making a lot of money for himself at present but he's also got to be one of the most hated agents in the game. Thankfully he's slowly cutting his own throat and may not be around the game too much longer. Hopefully Wolves have the future good sense not to want any of "his" players and stay well away.

You're completely right morally, though the only way Mackay will be cut out is if he loses his player channel, or if he decides to retire. No sign of that when he's got easy money lined up every 12 months.
The man must be worth tens of millions by now.....he's not a football fan, just a businessman out to make money. On that score he's doing a wonderful job for himself. It would take a good and expensive legal case to beat Mackay in a court of Law....as if he'd be bothered by then anyway?
His players have faired well financially....but look at the likes of Henri Camara? Having met Camara when he first came here (and being distinctly unimpressed by his naive attitude and manners towards women especially), he's got the knowledge of a chicken...and just the ability to play football to a decent standard and run very very fast. After 3 years of Mackay's $$$$$$...he's in virtually the same footballing position he held in 2003...but with a lot less regard in football and a lot less friends.
Worth it Henri? You could have been African footballer of the Year by now as well as repaying Wolves for the support they gave to your $$$$ finishing. If only you weren't such a thick $$$$ that is.

While agreeing with your sentiment, you can't argue he's done better moving to Wigan than if he'd stayed here. Top half of the Premiership or 7th in the Championship? Hmmm
And it would be pure speculation to say if he'd have stayed we would have gone back up.

He was half the reason we got relegated the peice of $$$$. The way he went about getting his move was a discrace.

Actually you could argue it.
If he'd stayed, Jones would have had a better squad. We'd certainly have been the team to beat with Camara in it. We would have scored more goals which could have made up for our woeful defensive inadequacies...and we may have got our place back in the Prem at the first time of asking.
Camara would then have been seen in the football world as "loyal", "committed" and as player who wouldn't bottle it when times got tough. What amuses me is the noises that would have come out of Wigan if they had got relegated....as they probably will next season.
The $$$$head should have stayed at Wolves.....built his brand, given it one year to get back in a stronger team and his value would probably been greater. He could have scored goals for fun at our level but instead he chose the act of defiance and turned most Prem teams against him.
I know it's modern football but the likes of $$$$head have cost a British player the chance of earning a living at the game. Sign $$$$e like him and you get a lot of baggage.....Wigan have done OK thanks to a decent manager but next season will be the real test and I think they're one of the favourites for the drop. And if that happens, where will $$$$head be then? Back to square one with an agent who has no morals or ethics.
Oh....and Willie....next time you want to rent a house from me...the answer will still be the same.....$$$$ OFF.

Are you having a laugh?
It's not the fifties. If Wigan hadn't signed Camara, it's doubtful they would have signed a British player to fill the gap. Too expensive by far.

Sounds pretty desperate.... Like I said before, can't beleive anyone does business with this t$$$$$r. One way of stopping this is to make agents pay back a pro rata'd portion of their commission for the years left on the contract they were originally glad to sign if it is broken
Paul Jewell must be $$$$$$$g mad..... Chimbomba, Roberts & now Camara again all under the Scottish T$$$ts managership

What a $$$$$$$. Camara himself said something similar at Soton, just before he was set up for 2 tap-ins the ungrateful little turnip.

It's nothing to do with HC and everything to do with willie Mackay. He is single handedly making clubs and supporters around the country look like a bunch of morons.
This time next year he'll be unsettled at Portsmouth, because Liverpool have been sniffing around. And the pompey fans will hate him as much as wolves, Wigan, Sedan, etc.

It does make you wonder what kind of a career Camara wants, though. Unless he's deluded enough to think that he's good enough to play for a Champions' League team, does he really want to be jumping between mid-table team after mid-table team each season, just for the sake of a quick buck?

I don't think he has a scooby doo. I think Mr McKay wears the trousers in their relationship. Camara isn't the brightest bulb going so I think McKay finds it very easy to sell another club to him. He's never going to get that 'big' move but he still fails to realise that. McKay is just happy that he can rake the pounds in when Camara moves every summer.
As to him being deluded enough to think he can play in the CL, anyone remember his performance for Celtic against Barcelona? That was his big chance to impress on the grand stage and he was absolute $$$$e. How I laughed.

Camara is on career-shortening path here.
basically, if his new employers next season are drawn against us, Wigan, Southampton etc people will be wanting to break the little wassock's legs. Each club he leaves will be another set of supporters that hate him and former teammates who want to do him.
I think he is eventually going to pick up a nasty little injury in one of those games and the world ain't exactly going to be crying

Exactly. If McKay is within the rules, and I assume he must be, then the rules want slagging off, not Camara and McKay.
