This is what i thought. Is it actually worth it? Not only does our home strip mirror Sheff Utds away strip but now this. A rubbish Wolves badge to boot, stupid numbers the whole thing is a marketing ploy to rip off fans.

Either Chaucer have made us another offer that we couldn't refuse or we haven't managed to get another sponsor.

Barnsley F.C. now have Barnsley Building Society on the front of their
shirts and Perrys on the back. I don't think that they will sell as
many as the VK Vodka Kick shirt, but they probably got more money in
sponsorship.

I don't know where you get this idea that people buy shirts based on the name of the sponsor. Do you think that more people will buy Chelsea shirts this season, because more people own a Samsung mobile than have flown with Emirates?

I've heard that Ndah is going to have sponsorship on the bottom of his boots so that we can see it when he is being carried off the pitch. Can anyone confirm this?

DW,

you and LIQ are completely out of touch with the oiks of the working
class. Have you ever had to go into a factory or a warehouse? Have you
ever been shopping in a supermarket? There are people in these places
that wear replica football shirts, even though they are over the age of
12. I've talked to some of them and seemingly they do care what is
written on the shirt.

Talking of Chelsea, I never realised that Barnsley was such a hot bed
of Chelsea support until this summer. Loads of people are suddenly
wearing Chelsea shirts around here and I also noticed them when I went
to a remote part of Wales recently.

I hope you washed your hands afterwards.

Just seems implausible to me that a Barnsley fan would say "I'll buy that shirt with the name of a cheap, sickly alcoholicdrink for 17-year-old chavs, but not that one with the name of a minor building society".

i think its only allowed in this division to get extra revnue for lower league clubs! Hope we dont end up like some of the french and spanish teams because i can only see it ending up one way with 2nd hand fridges being advertised like the sell it coloumn in the Express and star (please filter) smileys/smiley36.gif Edited by: Bilbrook_Wolves

I did think that it could be the popularity of Emirates Airline or maybe the nice blue and white colours.

Bloody hell, It's one of those jokes that come around every now and then to remind you you're getting old. All you've got to do isreplace Ndah with Bruno and "carried off the pitch" with "carried out the ring".

DW, honestly alot of the lads near me wouldn't buy the Premier Shirt because of the Doritos logo!

Having read your various posts over the months, I find it hard to take anything you say seriously, hence my previous comment on this thread. And I'm only being that charitable because it's Sunday and I've just come home from Church.

Moxey will never miss an opportunity tob#stardise anything sacredfor the sake of a few extra quid. Whilst safe in the knowledge it won't be spent on players, I just hope that the "few" extra quid is worthwhile.

Jeez this swear filter is a pain in the $$$$in' $$$$!Edited by: G-Wulf
