When I saw the title I thought he had harboured thoughts of joining the mighty Wolves..

My favourite non Wolves player of all time along with the Brazilian Ronaldo. He could do anything with the ball & Ronaldo was just an absolute beast, I remember watching him for PSV when I lived in Germany & he took about 5 players on with ease they couldn't even barge him off before scoring.

What a fantastic read and what a fantastic guy Ronaldinho is. The things he did with a football changed the game forever and the way he played with a smile on his face throughout was amazing. The most skillful and original player I have ever seen.

"Well, you are smiling because football is fun. Why would you be serious? Your goal is to spread joy. I'll say it again - creativity over calculation."

Oh how I'd love all football to played like this!

Coaches and stuffed suits will ensure that never happens. Certainly not in England.

    Great read.

I'd say when he was at the peak of his powers, I don't think I've seen a better footballer. To do what he did, especially in those first years at Barca, was unreal.

    Fantastic and surprisingly moving letter.

Ronaldinho, the original Ronaldo and Messi would be my ultimate front three. Unbelievably good at their peaks.

Probably my favourite player until Messi came along.

    What a genius he was.

An excellent read. It reminds you that sometimes our love for the game gets misdirected into worrying about money and transfers. Really, it should just be about enjoying the greatest game on earth. Would love the likes of young Ronan, Bright and Gibbs-White to read that.

A great read and I especially loved the bit about Bombom the dog!
