I see a certain Robbie Keane may be signing off his career at Shamrock Rovers after leaving the US. I think it would be a very shrewd move to get him involved at Wolves on the coaching (attack) side of things at some point if he was interested. In fact even for half a season he would be an inspiring addition to the squad as a player/coach. He has a mere 146 international caps and sixty something international goals to his account and although we were stupid enough to sell him at 18 (without a sell on clause) he must still have some affection for the club. He is arguably the greatest player bar Bully we have had since the 1970s and the kind of inspirational figure the club would do well to bring into the fold for the future. Just a thought Mr Thelwell/Mr Lambert. As a club we have never been very good at utilising the skills and experience of our former 'greats' after they retire as players on the coaching side (Stan Cullis didn't do too bad). Of course only a few are cut out for such a role but I reckon if it suited Robbie he would be an inspiring guy to have in and around the squad in whatever role was thought appropriate.
