Looking forward to this:
They were a group of Wolves fans who famously went to the 1986 World Cup in Mexico - and didn’t come back.
Now the story of Adder, Batesy, Rabbit Head, Arnie, and their American buddy Texas Steve has been told in a new documentary just in time for the upcoming 2026 World Cup, called “Lost Down Mexico Way.”
Good spot, that's indeed a relatively recent view of Central Bristol, Frogmore Street near the Hatchet Inn. View from 2024:Great film. Odd that they seem to have confused Stourbridge and Bristol right near the start!

I quite enjoyed the documentary but I didn't think it was as great as some others. I imagine there was a lot of gilding the lily going on! Just a young group of lads off for an adventure and I guess most of them did create lives that they otherwise wouldn't have had the opportunity to do. I just didn't warm to them very much from the beginning, when 3 years in prison for robbing a post office and running down 3 people in a car was seen as just a bit of banter. Still, I guess this gave some of them the opportunity to change their lives for the better and contribute. Some of us do stupid things when we are younger and I guess he did at least seek out and find his daughter. Not a good read
