Today’s Games 2025/26 Season

Funny you mention them because that would be my top 5 Odious Offerings sorted !!!
I find it deeply concerning that we are apparently in violent agreement (about the members if not necessarily the ordering)....

A few years ago the two Milan teams and Juve might have been candidates. Now PSG and Bayern Munich are pushing hard....

I have always liked Bayern dating back some 51 years now. I cheered them onto victory over Dirty Leeds in the 1975 European Cup Final :D :D :D

Recently when that European Super League stuff first appeared Bayern were the first of Europe's major players to vehemently come out against it. They did not need any fans backlash to convince them ( unlike the English clubs ) it was morally wrong, they were against it right from the start.

200 quid season ticket starting price. 13 quid match day ticket. They’re a cracking club for their fans

200 quick season ticket starting price. 13 quid natch day ticket. They’re a cracking club for their fans

Exactly. When you think what English clubs are charging to watch horseshoe football ( up one side, back down, across and the up the other side, back down etc etc :rolleyes::rolleyes: ) compared to being able to watch a Bayern side who this season are averaging not far short of 4 goals a game for £200, you don't have to be Martin Lewis to work out which represents better value :):):)

Former Bayern president Uli Hoeneß: "We could charge more than €120 per season ticket. If we charge €350 per season ticket we would get €2m extra, but what does that mean for us?

The difference for a fan between €120 and €350 is enormous and we do not believe that fans are like cows, which are milked.

Football has to be for everyone. That is the biggest difference between us and England."

He also got a 3.5 year sentence for tax evasion....

What a hideous game of football. Embarrassing compared to what PSG v Bayern will be like tomorrow.

That’s why I watched the play off between Dunfermline and Arbroath. A full blooded game, maybe not the same technical level as Arsenal, but much more enjoyable to watch. The Pars lead 1 - 0 going into the second leg on Friday.

I really enjoyed that game. The way it started I thought the Pars were going to win convincingly. The Red Lichties keeper pulled off a blinding save to keep it at 1-0 . Arbroath clearly adjusted at the half and could have gone home level.

The only gripe on the night was how an earth the Dunfermline player escaped with no sanction after pulling back by both arms the fast breaking opponent in the first half.

I am already looking forward to the return this Friday :):):)

Totally agree Norm. Though by the end I got the impression that Arbroath had settled for a one goal deficit. They certainly didn’t want the Pars to get a second goal.

Man City fans on the whole are down to earth not obnoxious like arsenal fans. I wouldn’t want wolves fans to be judged on what fosun do.

That’s a very good point. It just annoys me that it didn’t take long for Sheffield Wednesday, Leicester City and the Albion to get punished, yet this affair just keeps on dragging on. Either punish Manchester City or exonerate them, but it is long overdue that a decision was reached.

It's pretty straightforward I think. The more money a club has, the more lawyers it can afford, the less likely it is to be subject to justice. Football mirroring society as usual.

There not charged with breaching ffp though there charged with falsely reporting their revenue going back to 2017 which is still wrong however they haven’t over spent and they are not losing millions like Man Utd
What Villa and Chelsea and Everton have done in selling kids to each other for over inflated prices and selling the women’s team is worse Where are the charges for them?
Man Utd and Liverpool happily poached every clubs best players and pretty much had a monopoly on the league until Man City came and ruined it for them. Ffp penalises clubs that don’t have the revenue of the top teams Man City never had the same following where were they in 1992 when Liverpool and Man Utd were sky darlings and hoovering up all the armchair fans worldwide?

Seems to me that The Football League tries to treat all clubs the same. Premier League seem more interested in safeguarding the Worldwide product they have invented.
