Today’s Games 2025/26 Season

A friend of mine who is a STH at Leicester City thinks they could get dragged into the relegation battle. When I disagreed as I thought they had too many good players, he politely asked me if I had seen them this season. He is also concerned that if their seemingly inevitable points deduction comes into force this season, as that will put them in the bottom three.

Not quite Man C standard but they have been waiting a long time .

Aberdeen v Celtic off apparently.

I keep expecting out striped friends to go on a run and scrape into those play offs. They're leaving it late:

Just looked to see what the lowest points total in the Championship is (without points deductions) and Sheff Wed are looking to take that record comfortably. Would only be on 11 points without the poiints deductions, and their target to beat is 23. So looking unlikely.

Also noticed that Rotherham have 3 of the 4 lowest championship totals (29 in 2004/05, 27 in 2023/24, 23 in 2016/17). That's got to take some doing.

And this is why Rosenior was right to take Arsenal until the last minute.

The criticism he received was excessive. Newcastle should have done similar. 0-0 after an hour would've been decent for them, then get the first goal to make them nervy.
Except Chelsea went out so he wasn’t right.

Why don't defenders mark players, they're like moths to flames, marking space! Players are left all alone on the edge of the box while 4 players mark the 6 yard box

I have set aside some routine body maintenance for the afternoon of Sunday March 22nd . I have to check the back of my eyelids to make sure no light is getting through . This is preferable to watching the English media hype up the Arsenal v Manchester City League Cup Final.

By nodding off I will be spared having to listen to the increasingly self centred ramblings and " My words are gospel and should you write them on stone tablets " teachings of the Bhagwan Pep :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Moaning again. Great manager but an utter ****.

He is getting way too big for his boots. Hate how the media refer to him as Pep, like they are best mates. Find him very rude as well
to reporters at times.

Norm, surely that should have been in the irksome to infuriating thread…

:)

What a ****er. I wonder what he'd be saying if a cup tied player had signed for Arsenal and they were trying this on.

He reminds me of a manager when I was on BT. I never worked for this bloke but his staff nicknamed him ' Murayga ' . This stood for Makes Up Rules As You Go Along. That is Guardiola.

What a dilemma facing @Frank Lincoln this Sunday night as on TNT at 7.45 it is Juventus at home to Lazio. But what is this I see on BBC Scotland ? Kicking off at 7.30 from Ochilview Park is Stenhousemuir at home to Falkirk in the Scottish Cup ;) :p

A dilemma indeed. Now much as I like the new look Juventus, I will of course be tuning in to the battle between The Warriors and The Bairns.
