NY Times Article Worst Team in Premier League History

Soooooo negative on here ,,all you see is Fosun Fosun Fosun . As much VPs fault as Fosun .
We played much better on Sunday against villa ,,away to ateam trying for top 4 ... unlucky not to get a point .
Wins and draws will come ,,,we haven't got to get to 7th ....just 17th ....one win will roll us on to 3 or 4 unbeaten
Players didn’t want to join due to our wage structure and the constantly being in a relegation battle and that’s 100% on Jeff Shi.

I've just learnt to accept it from the summer onwards.
Then all my mates who were mocking me are now actually feeling sorry for the us Wolves Fans as they didn't realise how bad our owners have been, then bring in E-Sports and most want us to put up a fight and would love us to stay up (romantic story).

I've also manage to remove all emotion from the situation, makes it easier to accept and also read this forum because it's quite depressing on here and highlight is now the prediction league.
If we all could do that then maybe we wont need to be blocking each other.. We are suppose to be 'One Pack'
I accepted it in the summer, too. Since before Fulham I couldn't see another point before West Ham in January. Yet it doesn't bother me in the slightest - I'll treat success and disaster the same and not love Wolves any more or any less, whether there's a miraculous turnaround or whether we go down with the two points we're on now.

People speak the same platitudes when somebody dies - puts things into perspective doesn't it - yet that goes out the window two weeks later as people start attacking each other over starting lineups. That's my number one hatred of all things forum related.

One pack my ****.

58 days since we claimed a point and 37 days since we scored a goal. Good grief
The other shocking stat which I keep repeating is 4 (****ing four) open play goals in 13 games. Not counting added time that is one OP goal every 5 hours!!! We all said at the beginning of the season there was no creativity in this side - this figure alone proves that.

It’s Fosun, Fosun, Fosun who are at fault. Who appointed Vitor? who allowed him to bring in Teti? who set the salary cap? They haven’t just been crap, they have been appallingly terrible. I just don’t know what they are thinking. Nobody at Wolves or Fosun is going to benefit from this shambles. We are all losers.

With the decline of the Brazilian duo we don’t have any players that would get into the first 11 of any other team in the division (apart from maybe Krejci). We’re not just bad, we are terrible. Possibly the worst team in all history for the top division.

Wins and draws will not come, just like they haven’t in the first half of the season.

If it wasn't for VP, we'd be in the Championship right now. Who keeps appointing these useless managers?

VP was so bad, it's easy to see how free scoring we've become since he left. We have now turned a corner and the new era started the day we got rid of him. Clear as mud.

Wordwide coverage about how much of a state we’re in, and still we have people asking ‘would you be wanting protests if the form was better’.

We’re absolutely cooked.

It is such a nonsense argument isn't it.If my auntie had *******s, she'd be my uncle.

Our form IS awful and it's awful for many, many reasons - all related to how badly the football club has been run by our owners over numerous years.

If they hadn't made so many horrific decisions, our form wouldn't be like it is, would it?!

A crazy argument that ignores every ounce of context going.

Ahhhhh

The Jeff shi standard of judging league performance that got us in this situation is now the dream……

Shows how far he has tanked expectations lol

Just Waveney talking *******s as usual.

Absolutely this.

That's true, but I can't be the only one who has noticed this forum is as dead as disco compared to previous times. Something else Fosun killed.
I think it’s dead because it’s a lost cause.
Many of us have seen this coming for 5 years and we posted how we felt when we thought it would make a difference.
Now what is there to say. It’s happened .
I just can’t see how we saw it and Fosun couldn’t.

I loved VP but he has to take a lot of the blame for this squad that's been assembled and where we are now.

Yes, we were better on Sunday than of late which I hope brings some positivity and confidence to the dressing room.
Not sure on the 3/4 unbeaten run with the teams we're soon to play, but I applaud your positive thinking nonetheless.

When we went down in 2012 under Mick/TC, we got 25 points. We were 12 points from 17th (QPR) and 6 behind 19th placed Blackburn. That was as bad as I remember. A grim season, until now. Lots of us are thinking a successful season would be to get 12 points and avoid Derby's record of the worst Premier side ever. That would be fewer than half the points we got in 2011/12. That puts this season into some sort of perspective.

**** off Shi, **** off Fosun.

A lot of the blame, but not all of the blame. And there are still the question of how much free choice he had. Who gave him control of the recruitment process? Who keeps appointing people into roles they keep failing at?

I get my haircut every 5/6 weeks. The young lad that cuts it loves his football and even started a fantasy league for customers. Last time I went he started with 'it's ok, we don't have to talk football if you don't want to". Even the ****ing barber is taking pity on me.
We are short at the back and down the sides.

I wrote the below paragraph in the 'Jeff Shi Interview' thread after Jeff said he had a long term plan based on coaching stability. This was after he'd given VP his new contract and let him and Teti have a big say in the transfer strategy. I'm just a bloke sitting on my fat **** on the settee, and I along with plenty of others could see that putting all your eggs in the VP basket was very iffy. This is just one of the many reasons why Jeff Shi and Fosun are not fit to run a football club. The buck stops with them and they MUST GO!

'Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to give VP a chance, but embarking on a long term plan based on 'coaching stability' with a coach who has barely ever managed to stay in post for more than a couple of years seems a bit naive'

Best throw in of the month?
Yeah, but we suck at throw ins as well, and this has been a repeating issue that started in the Nuno years.
It takes ages to get it done, and literally it's a good throw in for us, if the ball isn't in the other teams possession after 2-3 touches.

Also, that single match last night saw two more goals than Wolves have scored in thirteen matches!
You can make any number of stats to make us look bad, here’s another!

League goals scored in the last 4 days:

Man City - 8
Newcastle - 6
Fulham - 6

League goals scored in the last 196 days:

Wolves - 8

But that's tree or four wins MORE than our nearest rivals ... not JUST three or four wins. Despite not having a league win in something like seventeen games or whatever it is ...

On the assumption it's going to take mid-to-high 30 points to survive, we'd probably need something like 11 wins from the remaining 25 games. Almost 1 win in 2. It just isn't happening.

That’s right but if we did invest in January it’s easy to get out of I just don’t see us spending 150m on that quality

Never mind Fosun’s loss

Burt that assumes that we match (or better) all of our rivals' results between now and then.

(and even then, it's not going to be easy)
