Jeff Shi out

Any tickets? None at all?

Anyway I’m sorry but that’s not a reasonable answer.
You don’t lie to the business world, the football world , possible future Wolves buyers, bankers, all the approximate 400 Wolves staff, all player agents and possible future players, the myriad of suppliers and companies that do business with Wolves, ……..

………just to maybe sell 3 or 4 thousand more tickets to fans who are considering not buying?

Doesn’t hold water.
Jeffs position was untenable. He fell out with the fans, council, fellow chairmen, media, players, managers, almost everybody really.
Low profile was the only solution to keep his job and not be physically attacked. Fosun couldnt care less about tickets.

If that's classed as aggressive behaviour these days, it's no wonder Fosun are getting away with taking the **** out of this fanbase
Yep. About as aggressive as Tongo Doumbia.

What was weird was him recording with both his meta glasses and phone at the same time. What's the motivation? Surely you don't give on that you're recording and you've got some fantastic footage you can put on your imaginary YouTube channel, instead he got shut down the moment he shoved his iPhone in Shi's face and we are all really none the wiser.

I don't trust Fosun one bit and don't think the questions were out of order or anything, but that video seems like a bit of a wasted opportunity to catch them out to me.

I think the business world and the world of being a football fan are two very different worlds at times

Jeff was removed from Wolves as CEO, after it became increasingly clear that it was no longer working. As big conglomerates often do, they move them sideways into positions that they feel fit them better.

I have no doubt that his day to day role of running Wolves is not in his remit, but like most big organisations he probably has some interest and probably Nathan Shi has used him as a sounding board given his experience.

There are many things to bash Fosun with but an every growing conspiracy that Jeff was that important and malevolent to be in some way pulling the strings behind the puppet of Nathan is one of the more desperate theories I have heard.

They have made mistakes and failed to maintain Premier League football, they will see it akin to loosing a major Client and revenue source.

What their plans are to regain this is much more important to me than a Senior person who was well respected within a large organisation still having a role at Fosun

Who’s Johnathan?

Apologies if I'm not reading this right but you seem to be suggesting that the fan base ought to be more aggressive in order to get their message across to Fosun?

Can you elaborate on just how much aggression you feel would be appropriate?

Hi Jeff.

'Well respected' :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy:

Really ? We are a major client ? AFAIK we are a relatively insignificant part of their total investments and far from being a 'revenue source' we are costing them money.

No you're not reading this right - so thank you for the apology.

Whilst we are a small part of a large organisation the idea that no one keeps tabs on a business the size of Wolves within Fosun is hardly realistic.

We have the Chairman of the Group attend games, you would expect that even in casual conversation he may enquire 'how much is this costing us?'

Also in this context I am explaining relegation meaning that we loose our major Client/revenue stream that is the Premier league income. Major relating to Wolves as a business

You’ve spent so long defending this lot now it seems you can’t/won’t see them for what they are for the sake of your own pride.

This isn’t the hill to die on.

Obviously, Jeff represents Fosun so if he’s lied, then by proxy Fosun have too.
Once again …….

I’m not immersed in the UK football culture which is massive…….therefore I tend to be more objective.

Fosun said from day one that Wolves have to self sustaining. Ok, as disappointing as it is, I have no other choice but to expect that and NOT expect anything more than that.

Therefore, for the most part, I judge Wolves, Jeff and Fosun’s decisions from a business point of view and not from a fans point of view otherwise I’m setting myself up for disappointment.

I do not think and never did think that everything Wolves, Jeff or Fosun do is wrong. Nor do I 5hink they lie about everything.

Nor did I ever think that they’re infallible …..they make mistakes and get somethings right.
English football is rife for decades with clubs that make very big mistakes……..why would I expect anything different from Wolves?

Their decisions have been garbage from a business point of view, as much as they have from a football/fan point of view.

There is so much wrong in this post. Hardly surprising really.

Nothing to do with Manners its about accountability.
The guy is literally sitting in front of a fans forum next week. He's probably engaged more with fans in 6 months than Jeff did in the last 6 years. Truth is neither of them is really accountable to the fans though. Still makes shoving a phone in someone's face and shouting questions at them quite rude and unnecessary and more about getting yourself some publicity than achieving anything.

Hasn't dont his online id verification for fosun sports groups which seems a created company in 2024 guo is person with significant control im sure this was to appease jeff and this is the business start up he is using to promote gaming
Why the **** would they want to appease him after what he’s done? Fosun are really really stupid aren’t they.

I agree to Disagree I'm happy for you to roll over and let Fosun tickle your belly. Some won't.
