Jan 2026 Transfer Window

ESPN reporting Wolves and Fulham are bith interested Breno Bidon from Corinthians, well if thats true, it would appear to be good news, great news if we could get him in the summer.
However if we were to beat Fulham to his signiture, we would probably have to promise him more first team football
Would be a good addition to give some young sparkle picking up players or agreeing deals early for summer would be great

100%

And our business needs to be done early on the summer. I can only imagine the panic if it’s a last minute trolley dash of crap again.
Do you honestly believe we will get our business done early? Truthfully I don't think it'll happen and will be messing about till the end of the window with the excuse of ”It's a World Cup year so it was difficult” and ”We had to move players on before going for our targets”.

One player that has recently started to show his class is Adil Boulbina in qatar, a 22 year old, Left Winger, plenty of pace, great shooting ability, 19 games with 10 goals and 5 assists so far, surely one player we must be keeping an eye on for the summer, current value 3.2M.
Surely one player that would have strong wishes to play in England, even in the championship

Champ club beating an established Prem club to his signature?

- Highly unlikely.

Now! As soon as Fluminense learned of Palmeiras' offer for Jhon Arias, they began discussing strategies to bring the player back. This became the Tricolor's focus.

Fluminense doesn't intend to match Palmeiras' offer, but will try to reach a similar figure, also counting on Arias' promise and desire to return to the club. This would require an effort from the player.

Arias listened to Palmeiras' offer and indicated that Fluminense is his priority. The Colombian wants to hear what the Tricolor (Fluminense) can offer.

Currently, for Fluminense, there are two possibilities: either the Tricolor reaches the agreed-upon amount, or Arias rejects Palmeiras' offer and buys time.

To be honest, after we screwed him around l couldn't blame him not prioritising us.....

Getting business done early is not easy these days.. Why?? Well unless you meet the demands of agents which early doors is usually very high and of course club valuations…

The summer is a huge reset it’s an exciting time even if we are going down!!

The players who could leave literally anyone

I’m sure the club is working to get 3/4 sorted early though

Look at how we chased a RB in the late hours….

Che Adams open to returning to the UK likely we will move for him again?

Solly March?? Can pass forward & wealth of experience

Harrison Reed?? Luke O’Nien?? Coady??

Some good experienced heads available that can help the younger group. 46 games we need deeper squad not everyone has to be starting we need more HG and experience for sure.

Teden Mengi I get the feeling we will see him arrive still only 23…

Anything with brazil and players is always shaky same with turkey

Basically turkey window closes tomorrow night if agba is going we will see pictures of him at an airport tomorrow

Arias the window is open till end of March

Fluminense can match any bid made some journos saying its already expired some saying we havent accepted so clock not started

Could be a while on arias saga, what we know is there has definitely been a 25m euros bid

Clearly if hes not in squad Saturday is moving at pace and Brazil aren't slow at puttng it out there if hes on a plane etc

I think a major factor will depend on what playing time either club will offer, which is likely to see him get more time on the pitch with us than Fulham
Fulham might buy him and loan him to us - otherwise not a chance.

Prem money or what we can offer? - You choose.

I'm not sure a lot of fans fully realise what's happening to us at the moment.

From what I believe unless krejci throws his toys in the summer, or a big bid comes in he will be in our team in the champ

A big bid would mean profit on our purchase price
The first order of business should be tying up Krejci, giving him the armband and asking him to give us one season to get promoted. That would be a real statement of intent.

Honestly, we should be a financial super power in the Championship, similar to what City are in the Premier League.

For all the talk about it’s not just about money, well we all know wages correlate with player quality.

In my mind then there are two questions; will Fosun back the team? Are they and the management team competent enough to build a winning squad?

Yerson, Santi, Krejci is the best defence in the league.
I’d argue that assuming Hull don’t go up, Charlie Hughes might be an upgrade on Yerson or Santi…

I’ve said before that I think Harvey Elliot is a great player, currently at the bottom of a curve.

Those would be two English players that would help us in the Championship that we should have the means to challenge for.

100% on Elliot but I doubt we could convince him to drop to the champ. Loan with option if we go up possibly?
