Exactly my thinking right now. I started off not wanting him and now I’m starting to change my mind slowly.

One thing I’ve thought is this upturn might change a few players thoughts in the summer who might start to believe that it’ll be just one season in the championship and they’ll be back. I’m not talking the Joao Gomes /Andre as they’re gone regardless, but the next tier might have a few more doubts about going now
Agree..
And looking how the players give their all for him, there must be something in his man-management that is very good which could convince players to come too.
He's clearly liked by the players.

Don’t forget he brought Angel Gomes in, in that first 20 mins, he probably played more passes than Munetsi did in his Wolves career.

Is that a genuine question buddy? Wow! Considering you accused everybody else on here of being a keyboard warrior you’re doing a very good job of being one yourself mate…
I’m over the moon we won as ultimately guess what…I’m a Wolves supporter…and three of my neighbours are Vile fans! LOL!
Mate, I have no agenda etc I just want what’s best for Wolves. I’m not gonna be fickle and change my opinion based on one game. If he wins a few more games between now and the summer then I’ll give him credit. It’s that simple. Anybody could have come in and had his record so far and I’d be exactly the same in my opinion towards them.
Have a great day dude!
Hey buddy ,
If you still think Edwards is a **** manager, then you know sweet f a about football.
Tonight against Liverpool was a tactical masterclass of how to beat Liverpool.
2 wins and a draw against villa arsenal and Liverpool.
Maybe you should go watch bowls or something

Well day

Shout out to @superwolves tonight.
You've gotten pelters on here. Your unwavering faith certainly starts to look more justified mate. Well done.
Its not about being proved right or wrong i just think were a much better team with the crowd backing our manager and players rather than the negativity. Good luck to Edwards he was dealt a team on its knees no confidence at all. Hes instilled some of his fight and passion into them fair play to him

Absolutely! And all where united tonight. Team, manager, fans.

Tonight, he did not put a foot wrong. It was actually a masterclass in game management and tactics. Even if we'd have lost - which we could easily have done but for some weak finishing and Sa - he couldn't have done much more.

You can't legislate for what Bellegarde did.

Edwards was consistently bad for 90% of his time here, hence not many trusting him to oversee a promotion straight back. That history cannot be erased to appease his fans any more than the two games against Arsenal plus Villa, West Ham and Liverpool at home can be erased to appease those who don't rate him.

Time will tell all.

Instilled fight and with a team who looked bereft of confidence has given them an identity and a plan and executed it well.
It is yet to be seen whether we can take the game to teams next season without Gomes and Andre which we will need to do, but we won't find that out anyway until next season.
His tactics with who we have, where we are and considering the opposition have been spot on.

Were gonna need that more than any new signing if we are gonna get back into the Premier. Molineux is a much better environment when the players can express themselves without fear. Ive seen many years of championship football and teams coming here with the objective of frustrating our crowd. Were a match for anyone with the 12th man

Still not convinced he’s the right man long term but credit where it’s due he’s got the last two games absolutely spot on. Two great performances full of fight but also tactically very good. Really pleased for him, hopefully we can get another couple of wins from the remaining games and go down with a bit of optimism about next season.

A refreshing, balanced point amid the obnoxious, "I told you so" nose-thumbing comments that are springing up. Bloke's won 3 of his 20 games and lost 11.
He still has a lot of work to do, but recent results have certainly put his foot in the door.

I am hoping and would love of he carries on proving me wrong and we get a few more results. Still have my doubts but tonight he got a lot right. Made subs at the right time and the players contrary to what I posted a few weeks ago do look behind him. Especially the last few games. Still have concerns about us in the attacking area going forward but we look much more organised and much harder to beat in the past month.

Let him sign some players and have a full pre season!

Christ!!!! You underestimate the rubbish he inherited and the lack of confidence in the squad!!!!

It's taken till now to reinstall some shape and discipline into them! I can't believe there's nobs still bending over backwards to discredit him! If a popular foreign manger had these recent results he'd be lorded!!!!

Perceptions in football are a joke!

You underestimate the mess he inherited. Give him a fair chance and a fair pre season!

Another win and a few more draws and I think it's fair to give him the opportunity to see how we can start next season. Still don't think he's good enough, but a good finish to the season is all we can ask.

Great performance from the fans tonight got behind the team, solid 10 mins of Rob Edwards barmy army, made a mockery of people saying big chunks of the support wanted him out.
Really, really quiet in the first half. Not surprising really as those 45 minutes were a waste of time and bored the life out of me.

Substitutions made the difference and we were definitely more of a threat afterwards. That’s when our fans really came to life and it made a massive difference.

Credit where it is due, he got pretty much everything right tonight, albeit l was deeply concerned at the start of the second half.

We need to start doing it against the so-called "lesser teams" now.

On the contrary, my argument has consistently been that this team isn't rubbish; this is a canard that has gone unchallenged for too long. The players are actually far better than most posters think, it's an ennui and a lack of professional pride that had infected the squad because of various figures at the club. The fact still remains however that until the Arsenal game, Edwards had taken only 6 points from 42 available; we can't just forget that happened because of the last three home results.

Your comment calling people, "nobs", implying mine and their perceptions are a joke, another comment above saying, "You ****ing idiots!!!" are a part of the problem though. I certainly haven't denigrated other posters for seeing something in Edwards that I cannot. If he can prove me wrong I shall be delighted, but it's a ways away yet. I was taught a harsh lesson by Gary O'Neil to be fooled into trusting a relatively brief purple patch.
