I have something to say that doesn’t require it’s own thread.

Good article on Palace's situation which is not dissimilar to ours. The last 2 paragraphs are noteworthy;

It’s very hard, bordering on the impossible, even with an FA Cup success, without an enormous injection of cash, for a club to climb from being a top-15 side to a top-10 side, let alone a top-eight side or a top-six side.
And the risk of collapse, of one sale prompting a flurry of departures, the example of Leicester is ever present. Money is destiny.

Holloway being an utter prat truthfully.

As l understand it Swindon played the player in a Cup fixture while he was serving a seven game ban (not to mention also playing another player not listed on the team sheet in the same game). Holloway is whinging that the player was given an additional one game ban as a result.

Instead of their own crap admin he's trying to blame the authorities. Hope that he enjoys his forthcoming touchline ban and fine.....

JSL was on January page for Wolves, off tomorrow. Jose Sa is February, look like he's staying

Went to the manor ground several times in the 90s, it always ****ed down in that open away terrace and I don’t think I ever saw us win there . So give them hell for that
I went there in the 90’s remember wolves were getting dicked there by half team we left and went to the pub not far from the ground lol

I would have liked to have seen Pedro given more minutes at RWB and seen Rodrigo up front in place of Hwang, it seems RE is not impressed with what he has seen of Pedro due to his lack of minutes and the fact that there were reports that we looked at a couple of right backs, now would have been the ideal time to put Pedro in to gain experience ready for next season, we aint got nowt to lose have we ?, but we have some tough games coming up and i will be surprised if Pedro gets to start, and RE prefers Rodrigo at RWB despite him having a knack of popping up in goal scoring positions.

Really hope they can get back up three. Investor seems to talk the big game, selected Stafford out of a few shortlisted clubs and apparently wants to follow the Wrexham model, whatever that means (probably just media talk).
Unfortunately they are a long way off Wrexham, but a good win against darlaston last night, unfortunately only 484 there!

I read that they'd sacked the chairman, citing a change in culture.
He stood down but the fans had been calling for the board to step down. He wasn't a bad man just too old to understand what was needed, hopefully these new owners can do what Gwilt has done at hednesford but he's put in over a million, not sure these guys will dig that deep. Matt Hersey is a good signing though, about time they went local

Talk about badly run clubs in the Midlands.
Considering the money and wages involved in football it is astonishing sometimes.
The sporting director hasn't attended a match since December. Yet was instrumental in bringing in a new manager in that time lol. So how in that time can he know whether the manager right fit or anything about the team really lol.

Just a reminder that 5 out of the last 7 managers were

Lambert, Zenga , Lage, O'Neil ,Pereira , Edwards.. What hope do we have ?

As stated on the Chelsea Verdict Thread, I had quite the experience!

Also say that I am content in only hearing the "We can't say it" chant just once today, being in the 87th minute. The message has clearly got through to the large majority and that is a positive.

Sorry to break it to you but unfortunately it was chanted far more than just once. I left on 80 minutes and I heard 'we can't say it' chanted 3 times, very loudly. It seemed to me like most people around me were joining in, the Neanderthal behind me was chanting it louder and with more ferocity than I've ever heard him chant anything else. 'Chelsea rent boys' was sang at least twice as well.

I've reported it to Kick IT Out and Wolves, as I seem to have to do every single time we play Chelsea or Brighton at home. Nothing will be done and nothing will change.

I found yesterday to be an utterly depressing experience and not just for how terrible Wolves were.
