I have something to say that doesn’t require it’s own thread.

Brazilian side Chapecoense who lost most of there squad in a 2016 plane crash and were relegated to second tier a few years later, promoted back after one season but then relegated again, are now back in Brazil’s Serie A for the first time in 4 years next year after getting promoted by 1 point.

It’s really ****ing me off how pep is ruining ait nouri and how all their fans slating him
He’s been injured more than he was at wolves
Just give him back to where he was loved. Not that he’d want to of course but they don’t appreciate him.

I know this isn't football but had to share this, This is a friend of ours son, couldn't of happened to a lovelier family, it's on FB and lots of national newspapers, he had the best day of his life, they said Luke was just one of the nicest people, spent ages talking to josh, it's on radio wm website too. He had his photo taken with all the darts players there

Boy, 10, has 'dreams come true' after meeting world darts number one

And this morning, the FIFA President confirmed that the Home Nations bid is the sole bid!

The bid will be submitted in the Autumn, with hosting confirmation set for next year.

Knowing it will be the second ever Football World Cup hosted in our nation, this will be absolutely massive and utterly gamechanging.
The Bid, featuring 22 stadiums has been submitted and all being well, the home nations will be approved as hosts in late April.

Here’s the stadiums in the bid for the 2035 FIFA Women’s World Cup, which should be all ratified in late April 2026: All Together - UK FIFA Women's World Cup 2035 bid

If l was cynical l'd say they wanted a smaller London venue for less attractive matches.
Brentford would have been a much better choice then.

Selhurst Park is a) **** and b) a **** place to get to and from (for most of the country)

I absolutely agree with both points. If l was to guess l'd speculate that Brentford is too close to Chelsea.

Don't think it needs its own thread but one thing i have seen recently, is replay assist in American football.

It's near enough done with in 5/10 seconds and would correct decisions where clearly wrong.

Where this could be used in football and I think it should be,

Is corners throw ins and fouls which are clear dives.

Replay assist would mean if officials got the throw in wrong as it came off the other teams player it could be corrected

Would like to see it adopted .. appropriately

Needs to be quick though its literally 5 seconds in American football yep came off other player quick decision change.

It can't be referred to a monitor or anything like that its factual so just change decision
Well exactly but they will probably look for other things too like was there a foul or offside in the build up etc .

The Lionesses double EURO’s title defence in 2029 will take place in Germany, after they won the bid to host the next Women’s European Championship over bids from Denmark and Sweden (joint bid) and Poland.

Interestingly Berlin isn’t a part of it, with the city not wanting to take the financial and contractual risks relating to the now successful bid.

The eight hosting cities will be Munich, Dortmund, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Hanover, Cologne, Leizpig and Wolfsburg, with the final to be in Munich in front of 70,000.
