If I understand the accounts, we owed about £70m to the bank at the end of the accounts. They might want to clear some or all of that.

We also owed £82m in future payments for players. Obviously there's cash to come in on loads of sales, but that's a cashflow thing, the money is already accounted.

Add on to that the fact that we bought lots of players last Summer after the accounting period closed (whereas Cunha and RAN are in the last accounts).

Really I'm not expecting anything very concrete of course, nailing them to anything solid is something. Confirming it's still no redundancies would be good for the poor sods who have to work under them, because that feels like the ground development, stuff Jeff was throwing about randomly to try to save his skin.

I wouldn't be so sure on the future payments to come in. The £70m loan debt could be what has already been loaned against the past sale proceeds and there's another £82m to find to cover past purchases.
Wolves haven't made a profit since forever.

The way we've shown hostility towards visiting teams in the recent past is getting on the backs of GK's or defensive players forcing them to make mistakes and that's come from noise on the terraces. Not much of that this season mind, but then again there's been nothing to shout about.
 
I'm not sure how many will be in attendance but I would propose asking the crowd for a show of hands, "Who here feels confident in Matt Jackson and Rob Edwards to lead us in this Summer rebuild?" I would hazard a guess and say a majority will not raise their hand. I'll concede I'm not sure what this would achieve but I think it should be made apparent to Nathan that the fans do not agree with the current direction of the club and it's hierarchy. And regardless, it will take some serious, no nonsense answers from this group to satiate the fans.

All the people wanting it back I suggest during the close season around 2:55 on a Saturday they go in their front garden with their phone and play The Liquidator on YT Music. Belt out at the top of your voice "F~~~ off West Brom at the appropriate time. You'll feel great and the neighbours will love it !!

Could do with an actual accountant to be fair, sure there are a few on here.

However as far as I read it were still owed about £200m, of which about £84m was due this season.

The complexities of the difference between the loss on the accounts, cash flow and supposed transfer balances are still a bit beyond me to be honest.

The mess of last season's Summer window has killed us on the pitch this season, but financially I guess the storm is yet to hit.

Yeah accounts are somewhat a mystery to me too
In past years Fosun have written loans off,and sales as you say are paid in instalments both too and from clubs, so its very hard to keep track on what the books say and what is actually owed
My take is that we are in a healthy position as far as FFP and have cash to buy before we sell anyone, but i could be miles off equally lol

Its one thing to have the cash to buy before selling, its another thing for the higher ups to actually want to spend it

Oh we're definitely in a very healthy position regarding FFP. It doesn't matter though, as Fosun have no intention of pushing that now.

I think the short version is that we have quite a bit of debt and it's down to them whether they are going to use the profits they'll undoubtedly generate off some players to clear some of that debt or buy better.

This place will be hard work though as people will look total sales, not profit.

This has made me laugh, two posters, who by their own admission have no clue what they're looking at or understand anything to do with accounts accuse other posters of being hard work who may have an opinion on accounts.

For me its the boys club which is the problem with the club. The raid on South America is as much a part of where we are now as any of the other transfers since. Its year on year decline, getting players and managers that are gradually worse than the last one; until we're worse than Scott Parker's Burnley.

One question for Nathan should now be…’with RE’s previous record of a rebuild at Luton being such a disaster resulting in a double dip do you really trust him with the summer?…bearing in mind his two signings so far have also been a disaster with Angel now returning to Marseilles and Armstrong with one goal in 8 games?’

They’d look pretty silly if they did the forum then sacked him. I’m not against keeping Edwards but he will need one hell of a good start next season. And that’s not easy when we’re going to be bringing in pretty much a new team.

The whole plan in October of bringing someone in for next season was beyond ridiculous...Whether he was the right man or not it was pointless because whoever it was would have had the wind knocked out of them come April/ May especially if the plan was to cash in , in January with player sales.

You can't wave the white flag while pretending to put a plan in place for next season... Because they made those statements in October of him being here next season they backed themselves into a corner....It was another barmy descion from Shi n Jackson...... absolutely ridiculous..

Forward planning to continue the circus...if the plan was to dismantle everything by June, a new manger should have started June 1st with a clean slate not a hangover..

I have to disagree, I don't think it tells us anything at all. At the moment, he's the head coach so he's going to be at the event. The alternative, if they've already decided he's going, is to omit him from the panel thus giving the game away that he's going to be sacked. They set this up weeks ago including the attendees from the club so RE turning up is to be expected and not an indication either way.

It's what they say though. Nathan, Jackson and Edwards telling the world they know it's been tough and the players have checked out, they're clearing the decks and there's a master plan that they've put together for next season.

Then we find out later that they had a new manager lined up all along and Edwards knew he was on his way.

That's hardly screaming the new policy of fan engagement and transparency.
 
In case anyone is in any doubt about what a catastrophe this season has been and is still giddy that we beat Liverpool, please remember that Nottingham Forest consider that they have had a very poor league season - They are currently 24 points ahead of us.

Please don't let these clowns off the hook.
