Says a lot about modern football, sort it with the agent and then ask the club.

Can't really work it out though. From what I can see he's (just) 21 and only broke into Celta Vigo's first team squad half way though the season, mostly coming off the bench. He's a tall left footed wide player who has mostly played on the right.

So I think what I want to know is
1. What sort of fee are we talking?
2. Is he first team ready?
3. Can he play as one of the 10's?
 
I don't know anything about him - anybody seen him play and know his strengths/ weaknesses etc?

Obligatory highlights reel from the last season (turn the sound off though). Seems rangy, but with good close control, a good progressive carrier of the ball, and a wand of a left foot. Some cracking long range hits.

 
Hopefully as we have a past of signing Celta players with Jonny and JSL the negotiations will run smoothly but this is Jeff we’re talking about! Maybe using Guedes as a sweetener could work? Think he will be signed as one of the 10’s with Mane and Enzo competing for his spot. Maybe a more creative type for the other 10 spot next on the list?… Either way I’m excited by this one being described as a Spanish wonderkid!

He is supposedly a very promising player so I'd imagine there will be a relatively low up front but will include plenty of add ons for appearances and a sell on etc.
Presumably he's seen as taking Sarabias 1st change role initially before becoming a 2st team regular but maybe he is that good.
Celta fans reaction suggests he is.
 
Looks a very similar type of player to Trincao. I really liked Trincao and felt he was starting to get used to the demands of the PL towards the end of his time here.

Lopez isn’t quite as far along in his development as Trincao was when he joined us so hopefully we have a bit more patience this time round.
 
Looks good from his highlights reel. Seems to have a good awareness of where his team mates are and when to pass.

Maybe not a guaranteed starter straight away, but definitely think he’ll be coming to play regular football. He’s just broke into the Celta first team as one of their best young talents and they have Europa League football next season.

Would be a strange decision to leave all that behind with your boyhood club for a place rotting on our bench.
 
He was going to be their natural replacement for Aspas, supposedly like to for like in ability.

We might have a good one here if he lives up to anything Aspas did.
 
Just for those who can't use the internet, at least he presumably will not fall into the 'homesick' camp after his spell at the might Bacton United. Sounds like he might be the most academic player since Olofinjana though!
 
Great left foot..good vision..future cunha..I'm just hoping he will a bench player to replace some like guessand to give him time to develop

Much bigger though, which should suit him to the Prem more.
 
Never heard of him but nice to see the club getting things done

So far our likely two summer signings off the same club then with JSL and Lopez

He's played 668 minutes in La Liga. Admittedly I've never seen him play, but if it's much north of €10m I'm going to be worried!
 
Did I read he's got a year left on his contract?

It will definitely be above €10m. His old release clause was €10m and they made him sign a new deal last year upping it to €40m to stop Juve/Barca/Atletico from snapping him up.

If I had to guess he’ll go for around the €17.5m (£15m) mark, but Celta fans online are saying it will be a disgrace if he goes for even a penny less than the €40m clause so who knows.
