Andre: apparently, he is "all that" - Discuss!

Bueno has a good cross, not much else. R Gomes isn’t the greatest in tight spaces. Jackson cannot control the ball. Then you have Tolu and munetsi.

This is why I believe the most important change has to be getting in our more technical forwards in Lopez and Arias who can help open the game up for us and give our other players options on the ball.

He also needs to drop one of the big men upfront as it severely depletes in game options for the players and is like playing with a man less. Even worse when you throw in munetsi’s ability alongside them.

Exactly this. The options that Andre has when he is on the ball are extremely limited.

We need players further forward that can control a ball and create something.
 
Don't know how any player can be surprised to find out that Fosun's Wolves are not actually intending to compete with Juventus, Arsenal or even Bournemouth and Palace, and haven't been for 5 years.

he shouldnt last till december. … we lose the next three -nobody has ever come back from a start that we had. we are down 100% certain. its also a start twice as bad as the next worst in 150 years.

Not exactly true…… they do stand in the way of moves. Not saying right or wrong decisions by the club, but here are club blocked moves in these cases;

Juventus came in for him in the summer and he wasn’t allowed to leave.

JSL - Newcastle came in, still here

Cunha - negotiated a move to Arsenal in Jan, didn’t go and went full on prat till he got his release clause

Raul - had a move to Man Utd proposed - he stayed at wolves

Man Utd and Barca came for neves - he didn’t make those moves

Fair enough, the club will let a player move eventually, perhaps. Cunha, RAN, Neto, off the top of my head. I guess Jota too if you go further back.

I fully expect Joao and Andre to not be Wolves' players in September 2026.

Selling Andre for anything other than a boat this summer would have been pretty silly. He can probably have that move next summer, assuming he gets his head out of his ass. He looks waaaaaay too happy to be a passenger for me at the moment.

Thing is mate who’s going to come and work for these clowns?
 
Ever since he came in he’s been one of my favourite players to wear the shirt. It’s not a glamorous position but he does it brilliantly. Protects the defence, very tidy on the ball and rarely gives it away. He’s the sort that if you’re brought up on British football you don’t always appreciate but on the continent then he’s absolutely loved. Unfortunately for him his partner does the same job albeit in a (slightly) different way. It’s much like Moutinho and Neves together who also played the role in a similar way to really see the best of Andre (or JG for that matter) they need a different sort next to them. Without a huge amount of pace in the team we scream out really for a midfielder who can carry the ball.

I think JG has looked good more advanced of the two.

There's been games where hes played that role well, Spurs away for instance.

I think one of JG issues is he chases the ball too much, Andre has better positional discipline.

there were rumours that his family hadn't settled here so maybe that's why they are back in Brazil.
