2025/26 Season Mr Rob Edwards and his Press Conferences

I cant watch cliche after cliche vanilla man, as soon as he starts sucking his teeth like his turkeys are loose I'm out.
That was Gary O Neill, lots have happened since then! Europe beckons! Oh, hang on..

But i think we should give Edwards a chance! Let's support the team for a change!

Edwards reported mixed news on the injury front on Tuesday afternoon. Toti and Joao Gomes have no lasting effects from knocks on Sunday, meaning they’re fit to face Forest. Ladislav Krejci was back on the grass on Tuesday, but didn’t train with the group, so won’t be fit but isn’t expected to be far off. Matt Doherty trained with the group again and, while unlikely to start, will be assessed about a place in the squad. Rodrigo Gomes continues his absence following groin surgery.

Very strange there’s no mention of Fer.

20+ million down the drain.
But what a surprise ? I mean who could've guessed a young player with half a season at La Liga levek would struggle in the PL..
Even if he has struggled at time he's still better than half the squad that manage to get minutes each week, it's the delusion of multiple managers that think hwang and munetsi deserve game time over him that's ruined his time here so far

100% this! The lad obviously has some talent so let’s give him some game time to get up to speed. It certainly beats watching Hwang and Munetsi stink the place out.

He'll never get better sitting on the bench and I don't think his 'lack of experience' means a thing with the position we're in. Hwang is an experienced international, with hundreds of top flight appearances and yet he's absolutely useless. If you play well on the pitch then you should be starting simple as

It's not £20m down the drain though, they were just about to increase his release clause to £40m, they were mad we got him for £20m, in what world are we just giving him back for nothing?

Why don't the so called journalist's ask where the heck Fer is ?, or have they forgot he actually signed for us (I was going to say plays for us but he doesn't do that) by the way where is enso ?.

Fer Lopez? I think he's injured, he certainly was at the weekend. As for Enso, last I heard he had recovered from his serious injury and was playing... U23?

Sure, but when did Lopez “play well on the pitch”?

He has had moments but I don’t remember any stand out moments. Yes, I would have in the match day squad, but I am really not sure he has played well enough to force a start.

When was the last time Hwang played well on the pitch?

I do not disagree.

He hasn’t been given many chances though, has he. At least you can see he has technical ability. Something that half our squad will never have.

Plenty of players take a while to get up to speed when joining the prem. I’m not saying he’ll be as good as Vitinha but I wouldn’t be surprised to see him at a top European club in the future.

When he is fit, if he isn’t ahead of Mane and Chirewa in the pecking order, then I give up. He’s way ahead of them……albeit a very low bar.

Couldn't watch the leeds game so can't commend on his performance there, but absolutely ran the show against everton in the cup. He's done more in an attacking sense in that one 30 minute cameo alone than hwang or munetsi has done all season. And even if he's been lackluster at times, he still offers far more than hwang and munetsi and as a result should be at the very least be the first attacking change on in every game.

I know it was only pre season but Lopez was the only real highlight of those games.

Amazed we have not used him more given the absolute trash we have watched up front this season.

It completely baffles me as well. It doesn't matter if he's inexperienced if he's contributing more than the experienced players

Rightly or wrongly, I think he's seen as lightweight not ready for the physicality he would encounter most matches. I can't believe that 2 managers are so stupid as to not select a potential game changer for a team that hasn't won for months. I agree that he should be at least given a chance to prove he's as bad as the others.

You mean the two managers who’ve played Hwang and Munetsi?
